Thankyou for taking the time to visit with an interest in membership of BMW Club South Australia. The Club brings together BMW owners, drivers and enthusiasts interested in "The Ultimate Driving Machine" for social, technical and motorsport activities at all levels of participation.
CLUB OBJECTIVES.....
- To bring together people interested in the BMW marque.
- To promote social activities.
- To collect and disseminate technical and mechanical information to benefit BMW drivers.
- To promote motorsport and motoring in all its branches.
- To encourage friendship and courtesy on the road.
WHAT WE OFFER.....
We offer a wide range of social activities including restaurant parties, day and weekend drives, picnics, observation runs, motorsport events, driver training and much more.
A general meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at various venues. Check the Motoring Club notes in each Thursdays Advertiser for meeting details. These meetings are conducted on an informal basis, covering topics of general interest and an opportunity to mix socially.
The club publishes a magazine four times each year, which covers BMW news, Club news, articles of general interest and Club activities. Classified items may be submitted by members for inclusion free of charge.
A national meeting of all BMW Clubs is hosted each Easter by the state member clubs in turn. This is a unique opportunity to meet and make friends with people of similar interests from all over Australia, during a weekend packed with social and motorsport events.
The Club maintains a library of pamphlets, magazines and videos, many of wich may be borrowed or hired by members.
On joining, members receive a membership card, issued by BMW Club South Australia Inc., which is recognised by numerous companies who provide discounts on various goods and services.
We are able to provide contacts for technical service, discounted parts and accessories. Assistance can be given to owners of older vehicles who have difficulty in obtaining parts, or need help in maintenance or restoration.
Although the Club is entirely independent of BMW Australia, a close working relationship is maintained with them and their dealer network.
